Who we are as a club
Hadleigh and Sudbury Swimming Club (HSSC) is a community-focused, non-profit club offering swimming opportunities for all ages and abilities, from 8-year-olds to Masters. Whether swimming for fitness or aiming to compete, we have a squad for you.
Founded in 1971, the club fosters an inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere. Weekly training at Hadleigh and Sudbury pools is led by qualified coaches who tailor sessions to individual goals.
Swimmers are assessed and moved through squads to ensure they are appropriately challenged. We promote progression with pathways for competition, from local galas to national championships.
Run by volunteers, HSSC is affiliated with Swim England and committed to their standards.
We believe that everyone should feel welcome in our swimming community. Our club embraces diversity and encourages swimmers of all backgrounds to join us. Together, we create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
At our club, we set high standards and aim for the best in everything we do. Whether it’s coaching, competition, or support, we focus on helping each swimmer reach their unique potential and enjoy the journey.
